At 735 pm mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over scottsdale airport, or near scottsdale, and moving northeast at 35 mph.

At 940 pm mst, doppler radar indicated severe thunderstorms with a broad outflow boundary of 40 to 60 mph winds moving across the phoenix area from the south. damaging winds are possible along with torrential rainfall.
