At 553 pm cdt, doppler radar indicated a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms stretched across southern montgomery county from pinehurst to the woodlands, and moving east southeast at 30 mph. this storm has a history of producing quarter size hail.

At 536 pm cdt, doppler radar indicated a cluster of severe thunderstorms in the magnolia and pinehurst areas capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this cluster was moving east southeast at 25 mph. one inch hail was reported in magnolia on fm 1488 at 527 pm, and the overall storm strength as remained about the same. locations impacted include, conroe, pinehurst, the woodlands, oak ridge north, panorama village, shenandoah, magnolia, cut and shoot, stagecoach, woodloch, todd mission, lake conroe dam, the woodlands pavillion, chateau woods and porter heights.
