Another day, another bullseye by the Storm Prediction Center…  We have our third day in a row of +15% zones predicted and nailed – and not from the typical March hail zones (think south and central Texas).  On Sunday we had Arkansas, Monday we had the Carolinas, and finally Tuesday in western & central Illinois.

We’d have given the SPC an “A+” if any of the hail had made it to Chicagoland…  Everyone from Chicago were crossing their fingers & toes hoping one of those monsters would meander all the way through the 15% zone.  They all petered out.

But hey, it’s MARCH!!  Hail like this hasn’t happened like this in mid-March since ’13 – and still, that was in the south!  We’re up in Illinois already.
