At 854 pm edt /754 pm cdt/, local law enforcement reported a line of severe thunderstorms producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of georgetown to cowarts, moving east at 35 mph. multiple reports of trees being blown down have been received from dale county. seek shelter now. locations impacted include, abbeville, fort gaines, cuthbert, headland, dothan, kinsey, ashford, cowarts, webb, columbia, newville, bellville, haleburg, green acres, scottsboro crossroads, pleasant plains, capps, bethel, screamer and graball.
