The severe thunderstorm warning for warren, eastern hancock, mcdonough and henderson counties will expire at 700 pm cdt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits and exited the warned area. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however heavy rain is still possible with this thunderstorm. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 800 pm cdt for west central illinois. a severe thunderstorm watch also remains in effect until 900 pm cdt for west central illinois and southeastern iowa. remember, a severe thunderstorm warning still remains in effect for southern mcdonough county through 745 pm.
