At 1246 pm cdt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing half dollar size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over banquete, or 10 miles northwest of driscoll. this storm was moving east-southeast at 45 mph. locations impacted include, corpus christi, alice, robstown, odem, orange grove, san patricio, calallen, edroy, banquete, bluntzer, west sinton, annaville, clarkwood, alfred, sandia, agua dulce, north san pedro and tuloso. a tornado watch remains in effect until 500 pm cdt for south texas.
