The severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern hill, southeastern hamilton, eastern bosque, central coryell and northwestern mclennan counties will expire at 1215 am cdt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms. flooding of area creeks and streams will be possible. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 500 am cdt for north central texas.
