The severe thunderstorm warning for northeastern bond, southeastern montgomery and fayette counties will expire at 945 am cst, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds are still possible with these thunderstorms. a tornado watch remains in effect until 500 pm cst for south central illinois. to report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. they will relay your report to the national weather service st louis.
