Svrfgz the national weather service in flagstaff has issued a * severe thunderstorm warning for, coconino county in north central arizona, * until 230 pm mst. * at 203 pm mst, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles southeast of grand canyon national park, or 41 miles west of desert view watchtower, moving north at 20 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

At 116 pm mst, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles southwest of hualapai hilltop, or 53 miles west of desert view at grand canyon, moving northeast at 10 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

The severe thunderstorm warning for coconino county will expire at 715 pm mst, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however additional storms will continue to move through the area and heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorm.

At 634 pm mst, a severe thunderstorm was located near hualapai hilltop, or 55 miles west of desert view at grand canyon, moving south at 10 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

At 1154 pm mst, national weather service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located 11 miles north of supai, moving northeast at 30 mph. locations impacted include, grand canyon national park, hualapai hilltop, supai and havasupai reservation.

At 1133 pm mst, national weather service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near hualapai hilltop, or 53 miles south of colorado city, and moving northeast at 35 mph.

At 1157 am mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing half dollar size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near grand canyon national park, or 45 miles west of desert view at grand canyon, and moving northeast at 15 mph.
