At 241 pm pdt, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of genesee over the walker fire burn scar, or 18 miles northeast of quincy, moving west at 13 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include quarter size hail, 60 mph wind gusts and heavy rainfall. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. debris flows off the walker fire burn scar will be possible. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, fencing and trees.

Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. Expect damage to roofs, siding, fencing, and trees. dust storms resulting in serious accidents. Locations impacted include, westwood, ca 36 at plumas-lassen co line and fredonyer pass.

At 101 pm pdt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near spring garden, or 9 miles east of quincy, and moving north at 10 mph. * this storm is also producing torrential rains that will impact areas north of sloat and south of genesee. expect localized flash flooding. do not drive into flooded areas.
