Svrfgz the national weather service in flagstaff has issued a * severe thunderstorm warning for, apache county in northeastern arizona, * until 130 pm mdt/1230 pm mst. * at 100 pm mdt/1200 pm mst, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of hope arch, or 14 miles northwest of chinle, moving southeast at 30 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

At 417 am mdt, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northwest of nazlini, or 12 miles south of chinle, moving north at 65 mph (radar indicated). Hazards include 70 mph wind gusts. Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

The severe thunderstorm warning for central apache county will expire at 1130 am mst, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however small.

At 1117 am mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near chinle, moving north at 25 mph. locations impacted include, chinle and canyon de chelly national monument.

At 1103 am mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located 12 miles west of nazlini, or 13 miles south of chinle, and moving north at 25 mph.

At 439 pm mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near chinle, moving east at 30 mph towards canyon de chelly national monument. this severe storm will be near, canyon de chelly national monument around 500 pm mst.

At 427 pm mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over chinle, and moving east at 35 mph. * this severe thunderstorm will be near, del muerto around 440 pm mst. canyon de chelly national monument around 455 pm mst. this includes highway 191 between mile markers 442 and 452.
