The severe thunderstorm warning for southern clinton, southeastern st. lawrence, southern franklin, essex, central chittenden and northwestern addison counties will expire at 1100 pm edt, the storms which prompted the warning will move out of the area. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire but a new severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for portions of eastern essex county new york eastward across vermont.
