The severe thunderstorm warning for north central douglas, broomfield, southwestern arapahoe, southeastern gilpin, southwestern denver, jefferson, west central adams and southeastern boulder counties will expire at 930 pm mdt, the winds which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. however gusty winds to 50 mph are still possible with in and near the foothills.
