The severe thunderstorm warning for north central douglas, southwestern davison and southeastern aurora counties will expire at 700 pm cdt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however small hail up to the size of dimes and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm. rainfall with this storm has approached three inches in some spots. this excessive rainfall may lead to minor flooding of area creeks and ditches. to report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. they will relay your report to the national weather service sioux falls.
