At 554 pm cdt, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 8 miles southeast of grant city, and moving east at 45 mph. at 550 pm, trained weather spotters reported a 60 mph wind gust in grant city (radar indicated rotation). Hazards include tornado and quarter size hail. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
