The severe thunderstorm warning for southwestern wright, southern webster, southeastern greene, western douglas and northeastern christian counties will expire at 800 pm cdt, the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. however, small hail up to dime size and gusty winds up to 45 mph are still possible with this thunderstorm.

At 721 pm cdt, a severe thunderstorm was located near rogersville, and moving east at 40 mph (radar indicated. law enforcement recently report power lines down on hwy jj near rogersville). Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding and trees.
