At 338 pm mdt, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles east of perry park, or 30 miles south of denver, moving northeast at 15 mph (trained weather spotters). Hazards include half dollar size hail. Damage to vehicles is expected. locations impacted include, castle rock, larkspur, franktown, perry park and the pinery. A tornado watch remains in effect until 900 pm mdt for northeastern colorado.
