6/16/2016 10:58 PM EDT	The severe thunderstorm warning for alleghany, ashe, patrick, southern grayson, henry and southern carroll counties, the city of martinsville and the city of galax will expire at 1100 pm edt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and have exited the warned area. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however, heavy rain and wind gusts are still possible with these thunderstorms. when it is safe to do so, please send your reports of hail of any size, as well as any reports of wind damage, including downed trees or large limbs, to the national weather service by calling toll free at 1, 8 6 6, 2 1 5, 4 3 2 4. reports and pictures can also be shared on the national weather service blacksburg facebook page and on twitter.
