At 712 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from near seaside heights to 9 miles southeast of surf city to 6 miles east of strathmere, moving east at 70 mph. the kdix doppler radar is showing 70 mph winds near manahawkin. locations impacted include, toms river, atlantic city, ocean city, barnegat, pleasantville, beachwood, somers point, brigantine, northfield, absecon, tuckerton, seaside heights, lakehurst, woodbine, estell manor, surf city, port republic, corbin city, pleasant plains and holiday city south.

At 635 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from florence to near atsion to near fairton, moving east at 45 mph. there have been numerous reports of wind damage, especially in burlington county. please take this warning seriously and remain indoors until this storm passes. locations impacted include, toms river, vineland, atlantic city, millville, bridgeton, ocean city, cumberland, medford, barnegat, pleasantville, hammonton, lumberton, florence, beachwood, somers point, burlington, mount holly, brigantine, northfield and absecon.
