The severe thunderstorm warning for northern texas, pulaski, phelps, maries, and dent counties will expire at midnight cdt, the line of storms which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. however, heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorms. a tornado watch remains in effect until midnight cdt thursday morning for southeast kansas and southern missouri.
