At 454 pm est, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. this dangerous storm was located over prospect, or near red springs, moving northeast at 60 mph. locations impacted include, red springs, pembroke, maxton, st. pauls, raemon, purvis, tolarsville, buie, shannon, wakulla, prospect, rex, elrod, parkton, rennert and lumber bridge. this includes the following highways, interstate 74 near mile marker 191, near mile marker 205, between mile markers 204 and 203, and between mile markers 192 and 200. interstate 95 in north carolina between mile markers 23 and 38.
