At 725 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from 8 miles south of lugoff to 6 miles south of ridge spring, and moving southeast at 15 mph. * these severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern barnwell, calhoun, central aiken, lexington, southwestern sumter, south central kershaw, southeastern richland, east central edgefield and northwestern orangeburg counties, including the following locations, salley, wedgewood, woodford, springfield, pelion, livingston, wagener, neeses, gilbert and swansea.

At 1131 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located 10 miles east of fort jackson, or 13 miles east of woodfields, moving southeast at 25 mph. penny size hail may also accompany the damaging winds. in addition, at 1115 pm edt, this storm produced penny size hail 4 miles north of dentsville in richland county. locations impacted include, columbia, forest acres, woodfields, dentsville, arcadia lakes, eastover, five points, woodfield, fort jackson and stateburg.
