At 608 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. these storms were located along a line extending from upland pines to 11 miles northeast of steinhatchee, and moving southeast at 35 mph.

At 458 pm edt, doppler radar continued to indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located between fanning springs and chiefland, or near manatee springs state park, moving northwest at 15 mph. penny size hail may also accompany the damaging winds. locations impacted include, chiefland, andrews, manattee road, fanning springs and manatee springs state park.

At 441 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over manattee road, or near chiefland, and moving northwest at 25 mph.
