The severe thunderstorm warning for yavapai and coconino counties will expire at 430 pm mst, the storm which prompted the warning along interstate 40 around 10 miles west of ash fork has weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. however heavy rain is still likely with this thunderstorm.
