At 311 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing half dollar size hail and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. this storm was located near buffalo mills, or 12 miles southwest of bedford, and moving southeast at 30 mph.

Hazards include 60 mph wind gusts. Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. this could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. roadways may become blocked by downed trees. localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
