At 435 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over northwest, or 10 miles northwest of leland, moving east at 25 mph. locations impacted include, sandyfield, freeman, delco and riegelwood. this includes us route 74 between mile markers 414 and 422. severe thunderstorm warning also remains in effect for northern brunswick county.

At 427 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over riegelwood, or 13 miles northwest of leland, moving east at 25 mph. locations impacted include, sandyfield, rooks, freeman, currie, delco, riegelwood, point caswell, kelly, bolton and east arcadia. this includes us route 74 between mile markers 410 and 422. a tornado warning remains in effect until 445 pm for eastern columbus county.

At 409 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and destructive winds in excess of 70 mph. this storm was located near sandyfield, or 18 miles east of whiteville, moving southeast at 20 mph. locations impacted include, sandyfield, council, freeman, currie, delco, riegelwood, bolton and east arcadia. this includes us route 74 between mile markers 405 and 422.

At 358 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located near council, or 16 miles east of whiteville, and moving east at 25 mph.
