At 345 pm mst, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over solomon, moving southwest at 30 mph. locations impacted include, safford, thatcher, pima, frye mesa dam, solomon and swift trail junction.
