At 935 pm edt, doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. this storm was located over shipman, or 11 miles north of bent creek, moving southeast at 30 mph. locations impacted include, shipman, schuyler, norwood, rockfish, buffalo springs, lovingston, elma, tye river, five forks, arrington, faber and wingina.
