7/7/2016 7:56 PM EDT The severe thunderstorm warning for brunswick and new hanover counties will expire at 800 pm edt, the storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. although the storm has weakened gusty winds of 25 to 35 mph are still possible through 830 pm edt. a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 1100 pm edt for southeastern north carolina.
